Educating your Community with Startup Junkie

In its modern definition, innovation is considered the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs. One company has been leading in a new way, by offering a helping hand to local businesses. Startup Junkie offers consulting, events, workshops, and programs at no cost to budding entrepreneurial ecosystems in Northwest Arkansas.

At the root of their business and foundation, Startup Junkie strives to encourage growth. By offering local events, one-on-one coaching, and workshops, many businesses have come to know, love, and trust in this innovative organization. The best part about it all? They offer these services at no cost. Why? Because Startup Junkie truly believes in the power of small businesses to thrive in their communities. “Once somebody goes [to a Startup Junkie event] one time, they see that people are not judging you, but they’re trying to figure out how to be helpful, particularly in NWA. There’s something in the DNA here. A lot of people really want to help you and figure out how to help you succeed, and they’re not looking for any kind of reciprocity. They just love to see people do well.”

Startup Junkie has a few channels through which they reach people. First, their original Startup Junkie Consulting business: a successful way to cultivate growth and talent within small businesses. Next, their newly expanding program, Conductor. The Conductor is a public-private partnership between the University of Central Arkansas and Startup Junkie Consulting. The Conductor drives innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment in Central Arkansas.

Through all their methods, Startup Junkie keeps this philosophy, “Figure out how to help people without any expectation that they might ultimately be customers. Establish that thought leadership. Don’t do it in a superficial way because people can smell that and see right through it. But, if you do it in a genuine way, you begin to be viewed as somebody they can trust.” Because of their mindset of innovation and true passion for people, Startup Junkie has become a name brands know and trust.
